The last starter, Plumlee, has been excellent this season and as of late. PJ Washington hasn't been playing well at all, but atleast his price is suppressed and he has a ceiling if his shot starts to fall. I just think this is a really tough spot for a lot of the Charlotte players, so you will want to target more value pieces over the pricey guys. Same could be said for Hayward but atleast he is a bit cheaper. He is likely to see some Kawhi and if his shot isn't falling then there is a big chance he doesn't hit value. after his big game last game, but I really think this could be a let down spot for him. I think a lot of the field will go to Oubre Jr. So the Hornets have some interesting pieces to target, but the matchup is dreadful and its a pretty big pace down spot. Lastly, LaMelo Ball ($13,800 CPTN) with a bit easier individual matchup compared to other Hornets is just fine at CPTN or UTIL. I could easily see him getting 40 DK points just on limited minutes tonight with the matchup and at like 2% CPTN ownership that could be a great leverage spot. However, the Hornets are TERRIBLE against C's and if healthy he should get 20-25 minutes. He has been dreadful as of late don't get me wrong. A really sneaky CPTN option for tonight could be Ivica Zubac ($8,100 CPTN). Paul George ($14,400 CPTN) is also fine but I think ownership will drift towards him at CPTN, so going with him at UTIL might make a bit more sense. If George is IN then you can still target Kawhi but it just lowers the ceiling a bit. This is also a massive pace up spot for LAC and Charlotte is horrible on defense. He is finally getting above 30 minutes and the usage will be insane. We still need to keep an eye on the PG news, but if he is OUT then Kawhi Leonard ($12,600 CPTN) makes a ton of sense. There isn't a player over $10,000 and there are a few punt options that could make a mid range CPTN with just one punt viable. Pricing for this game lends towards your roster being more balanced. With that being said, let's get down to it! A lot gets talked about for main slate NBA, but SD slates fall behind and still have a decent contest selection for the late night. Showdown slates can still be extremely profitable if played correctly and I want to help you guys do just that! If you get overwhelmed on multi-game slates trying to balance injury news and roster construction, then SD could be perfect for you! We will look at optimal CPTN's, injury news and the effects they have on each team's lineup, pivots off of the chalk and MORE! I want to help teach everyone here how to properly attack a single game slate and be profitable long term. All of the plays questioned in the post on Memphis games were scored consistently within the rules set forth by the NBA statisticians manual.Hello everyone! I am new to the subreddit trying to help grow a largely forgotten about contest type that doesn't get enough buzz. “If changes are necessary, they are made at that time or following a postgame review. “In order to ensure the integrity of our game statistics, auditors, independent of the statisticians on-site, review all plays and stats decisions in real-time during NBA games,” NBA spokesman Tim Frank told NBC Sports. The NBA pushed back on that theory by reminding people that all NBA stats are audited in real-time by someone watching the video in Secaucus (rebound or blocked shots being changed during a game is not uncommon because of this). The conspiracy theory does not hold water. The post went viral - we all love to think we’re in on something nobody else knows - and has gotten to the point some Las Vegas sportsbooks have taken down Defensive Player of the Year betting. That led to a conspiracy theory post on Reddit about how the Memphis scorekeeper is padding Jackson’s stats, calling his numbers fraudulent. He is the frontrunner for Defensive Player of the Year right now. 106.8 defensive rating (which would be best in the league by more than three points). has been a defensive monster since coming back from foot surgery, something obvious by the eye test but backed up by impressive stats: 3.1 blocks and a steal a game, opposing players are shooting 44% on shots he contests and when he is on the court the Grizzlies have.
